Center for Democracy and Civic Life Open House

Drop by to make new friends, enjoy some light refreshments, and learn about the Center for Democracy and Civic Life’s programs, including opportunities to:

• Discover your own leadership styles and ways to collaborate with others to build communities (e.g. STRiVE and ConnectionCorps);
• Learn how to advance social justice and other forms of social change (e.g. Alternative Spring Break and Change Makers Dinners);
• Demystify how to engage in political processes locally in Maryland, and in the nation/world (e.g. Changing Maryland); and
• Connect with other community members to unpack our world and find shared missions and ideals (e.g. Dinner with Friends and Real Talk).

We will have a voter registration station available. Maryland’s deadline to register to vote in the 2024 general election is October 15.
